Back in the Pleocine (Around 1984, if I recall), I was going into high school, and I applied for a special class that had a limited amount of students.

The deadline came and went, so I registered as if I wasn't going to be in said class. Got a phone call later that week wondering why I didn't want to be in said class after I had been accepted.

Eyup. Acceptance lost in the mail. No big deal. Redid my schedule, and all was well with the world.

About 383 days after it was sent, I got my acceptence letter. Yep, over a year.

For added fun, my house was, litterally, a straight shot to the high school, about 1.5 miles away.

For those keeping score - That's .0001523 miles per hour. Just over 9 inches an hour.

But, hey - You got your art in one piece. That's always a bonus.
