Kid Beyond
So you're all probably wishing I'd shut up about Kid Beyond already. TOO BAD. Since I saw him at the Imogen Heap show on Saturday he's occupied a significant portion of my thoughts.

Here is a video from Kid Beyond that explains the technology and process behind his work, elaborating on how he does what he does. Give it a watch if you have the time, I think I'll help you understand why his work fascinates me the way it does... if nothing else you'll get a small sense for what it was that I experienced during his set on Saturday night.

When I need hope and inspiration

wow!!! I am amazed. I had a roommate after college that was a pretty good drummer and it was a lot of fun listening to him learn new beats, and doing it all vocally.

Thanks for posting these links!

I would think that you of all people would know to click the links I supply when I'm babbling about certain topics -- I follow the example set by jwz and wakkowarner for providing referential material about such things.

I'll get around to clicking the links eventually. I just felt the need to be silly and annoying first. :}
