Didn't work. But monotonous rap doesn't seem to infect me. Still, I'm expecting the sysadmin parody any day now...

Just to be clear, Aesop Rock is the guy doing the vocals. Evil Nine are a couple of breakbeat DJs from Brighton.

I've got a Crystal Method cover of Evil 9's "Cake Hole." I thought the beat seemed sort of familiar when I watched this.

Obviously I need Aesop Rock, too.

They used a lot of similar instrumentation for Crooked. Far as I know, though, the cartoon guys are supposed to be Evil Nine, they always seem to depict themselves as vaguely-dangerous-looking cartoons.
